Within all the universe, no realm is more intriguing than that of dreams. A place (if one can call it that) constructed within a moment yet depicts the illusion of eternity. Where laws apply only to its given state, and reason and rationale are mere fictions in a world of sanity.
Dreams are neither here nor there, dreams are not seen for can our eyes 'see' into the mind, neither are dreams heard or felt. Dreams are not to be confused with thought, for in thought one is conscious, this is not true for the former.
How can one begin to understand the depth of a dream, can meaning be applied to a world that isn't of our own? How can a dream (whether frightful or delightful) produce emotions within 'our world'. Do 'our' emotions in the here and now then produce a reaction of sorts in another realm?
Darkness sees no fault. No human imperfection as far as genetics are concerned. Shadows cannot lie, for their very being is an absolute image. Reflected only in the presence of light, yet there is no prejudice. The still of night carries with her a sense of peace, every whisper amplified yet each word lost in translations. Oh how long shall the shadows I've so long embraced play garment,cloak to my eternal night?
