I realized that growing up and playing Pokemon has taught me a lot. Walking through grassy areas or the caves and wild Pokemon just keep popping up, its so annoying but theres not much you can do about it (except use a repel) so you learn to just get over things that are outside your control.
Pokemon also teaches you to be prepared, I cant name how many times I've came across something I wanted to catch only to realize I didnt stock up on Pokeballs.
