Golden leaf

In autumn she grows weak from life, and her hue becomes like unto flames. She falls and soars and tumbles down. They sky looks on and sheds no tear. The earth declares her dead but the wind carries her on across foreign shores, hills of lavender and through the sows of time. Shes out of mind and lost to sight but in springs glory we see a leaf, golden and orange, bright as Apollo floating across the day..amongst lilies and daisies, she catches my eye and I watch as she hovers, for what seems like eternity. Until shes carried on, if only I could see her once more
