Last night I watched the season premiere of Archer on FX. The show was funny of course, but it took a drastic spin from the conventional 'James Bond' kinda spy movie which was really cool.
Archer is this 'momma's boy' middle age spy who has no friends so to make up for it, he acts like a jerk. Sorta a psychological defense mechanism where you say 'hey no one likes me but if I give them reason not to like me then at least I'm in control..of not being liked..' pretty much something like that.
Archer has some serious 'mom issues' to sort through but, his life is so funny that I cant help but to forget my own for 30min while I sit mindlessly in front of the tv laughing to myself about lord knows what.
