Macbeth

The psychology behind Shakespeare's Macbeth as depicted through his characters, particularly Macbeth and his wife (lady Macbeth) is clear evidence that insanity is only a thought away from the perceived notion of the conscience.
It would seem that a healthy life style also requires a sense of 'peace' at both heart and mind. But how does one go about obtaining such tranquility? Though there are many paths I believe the one most rewarding lies in religion.
Incorporating a sense of psychology as well with religion, one can easily go before their God and confess the deeds of the heart. An efficient and much cheaper form of psychotherapy. Religion also sets a clear philosophical path of morality (as defined by each man to his own), a guideline if you so will.
As far as Macbeth is concerned, I'm almost finished and curious to see what psychological steps he will take to 'ease his mind'.
